Convergence of Literature

One of the most significant effects of technology on society and culture, in general, has been the unraveling of standards, making it both easier and more difficult to find previously unknown objects. And I believe that applies to literature just as much as it does to everything else. As time goes by, various literary genres were created due to modern technology along the lines of Doodle Fiction, Manga, and Graphic Novels that usually need the use of digital mechanisms. It often differs from conventional writing standards.

Doodle Fiction, Manga, and Graphic Novels however, have their unique similarities and differences according to their terms of structure and elements. On their similarities of the three, drawings, illustrations, or graphics are used in these genres to tell a story. To be more specific, all of these types contain images that effectively engage viewers. These are all from the 21st century. Each genre does not exist without the assistance of a computer or digital mechanisms. They are all 'illustrated narratives,' which means they use a variety of pictures/images and text/words to tell the story. Their differences in terms of their structure, unlike Manga and Graphic Novels, Doodle Fictions are written in the style of a novel or storybook. In a graphic novel, rather than a picture book or illustrated novel, the story is conveyed by a series of words and pictures around the page. In Manga, panels, graphics, and symbols indicate movement and sound, qualities of touch, and the emotional state of the characters. Talking about their differences in terms of elements, Doodle fictions use handwritten elements to write the text and draw the illustrations. The style, which typically includes text, images, word balloons, sound effects, and panels, is what distinguishes the story as a graphic novel. And lastly, Manga graphics are drawn in a very unique Japanese art style, and they are read from right to left. Elements in Manga are often exclusive to the Japanese. Community, people, climate, action, and other aspects are examples of Japanese elements.

To sum up, everything that has been stated so far, literacy in the 21st century refers to the ability to work in a technologically advanced, ever-changing world. Technology has altered our perceptions, interpretations, and even writing of literature by allowing everyone to write through social networks, reviews, and blogging, and it has been for the better. Technology has influenced and will continue to influence literature in a variety of ways.
